We Love Vets - Part 1

Here at Jaco Sales, we love our veterans! We want to thank you for your service to this country. We know that leaving the military can be a big transition. Many of our veterans do not have any sort of housing available to them when they go back to civilian life. That's why we think that a new manufactured home may be the perfect fit for veterans who have recently left the military or for those that have been retired for a while. There are many benefits to a manufactured home and we will take a look at a few of them here.

At Jaco Sales, our admiration for veterans runs deep. Your commitment to this nation deserves our utmost gratitude. Recognizing that the shift from military to civilian life can be overwhelming, we understand that housing often poses a significant challenge. A considerable number of veterans find themselves without suitable accommodations upon reentering civilian society. This is where our proposition comes in – a brand-new manufactured home, thoughtfully tailored to cater to the needs of veterans embarking on this new chapter or those who have been retired for some time.

The advantages of a manufactured home are multifaceted, making it an enticing option for veterans seeking stability and comfort. From affordability and customizable designs to energy efficiency and modern amenities, these homes encompass an array of benefits that cater to the unique circumstances of veterans. In the following sections, we will delve into a few of these compelling advantages, aiming to shed light on how a manufactured home can be an excellent solution for veterans navigating the post-military landscape.

Advantages To Manufactured Homes
One of the main advantages to a manufactured home is the cost compared to stick-built home. A stick-built home costs about $150 per square foot to build. A manufactured home will cost less than half of that per square foot. Meaning that a stick-built home will cost over twice as much as a manufactured home of the same size. The main reason a manufactured home is cheaper is because they are built in factories. This has many financial advantages. Because many manufactured homes are being built in the factory, they can order massive amounts of materials at a cheaper price. Also, labor is cheaper because the factory assembly line is more controlled and efficient than building a house on-site.

Customization is another advantage to a manufactured home. There are a wide variety of customizations for the interior as well as the exterior. You can choose whatever design, color and layout for your manufactured home. The options are truly endless. And while a stick-built home could take several months to build, a manufactured home can be ready in just a few days.

Same Materials
Manufactured homes are built with the same materials as a traditional home. The National Conference of States on Building Codes and Standards as well as the
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) have inspections that every manufactured home has to pass. All heating, electrical and plumbing systems are tested for compliance. Even if a manufactured home only fails one of these inspections, it cannot be sold. Actually, a manufactured home must be built with extremely high quality materials in order to withstand the stress of being transported to the site where the home will be.

Financing
Given our deep appreciation for veterans, we firmly believe that a manufactured home presents an ideal housing solution. However, you might understandably be pondering a crucial aspect – the availability of financing options tailored to manufactured homes. It's natural to have questions about the financial feasibility of such a transition. Rest assured, we're committed to addressing these concerns and shedding light on the financing avenues open to veterans interested in embracing the comfort and benefits of a manufactured home.

In the subsequent discussion, we'll delve into the financing possibilities and support that exist to make this housing choice accessible and advantageous for our esteemed veterans. We will take a look at that subject in the next blog.
